Ingredients

  • 4 –6 bone-in or boneless pork chops
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup or cream of chicken, if preferred
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for searing, optional

Method

  1. Prep the pork chops: Season with black pepper and paprika. For extra flavor, sear them in olive oil over medium-high heat until lightly browned. (This step is optional but recommended.)
  2. Layer in the slow cooker: Place sliced onions and garlic on the bottom, then arrange the pork chops on top.
  3. Make the gravy: In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, and chicken broth until smooth. Pour over the pork chops.
  4. Cook low & slow: Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until pork chops are fork-tender.
  5. Serve & enjoy: Spoon the creamy gravy over the pork chops and serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles.
