Method
Step 1 – Cook the Pasta
- Boil a large pot of water.
- Add salt.
- Put pasta in the pot.
- Cook until tender but firm.
- Save half a cup of pasta water.
- Drain pasta and set aside.
Step 2 – Cook the Salmon
- Heat olive oil in a pan.
- Season salmon with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
- Place salmon in the pan.
- Cook 3–4 minutes on each side.
- Take salmon out.
- Let it cool.
- Break into chunks.
Step 3 – Make the Sauce
- Add olive oil to the pan.
- Cook garlic and onion until soft.
- Pour in cream.
- Add Parmesan cheese.
- Stir well.
- Add herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Add pasta water if the sauce is too thick.
Step 4 – Mix and Serve
- Put pasta in the sauce.
- Stir gently.
- Add salmon chunks.
- Mix lightly.
- Sprinkle parsley and Parmesan on top.
