Method
For the Cake:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch pans.
- Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Add milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
- Stir in boiling water. Batter will be thin.
- Pour batter into pans.
- Bake 30–35 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool cakes completely.
For the Frosting:
- Beat peanut butter and butter until creamy.
- Add powdered sugar and cream slowly.
- Mix in vanilla. Beat until fluffy.
To Assemble:
- Place first cake layer on plate.
- Spread frosting on top. Add chopped Reese’s.
- Place second cake layer on top.
- Frost top and sides.
- Decorate with Reese’s and chocolate drizzle.
