Method
- Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
- Heat a skillet with 1 tbsp butter and sear pork chops until golden brown on each side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt remaining butter. Add apples (and onion if using). Cook until soft.
- Stir in honey, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add apple cider or water if needed for a smoother sauce.
- Return pork chops to the skillet and simmer for 5–7 minutes until fully cooked.
- Serve warm with apple sauce spooned over pork chops.
