Ingredients
  

  • 4 pork chops bone-in or boneless
  • 3 apples peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg optional
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 small onion sliced (optional)
  • ¼ cup apple cider or water optional, for sauce consistency

Method
 

  1. Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet with 1 tbsp butter and sear pork chops until golden brown on each side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter. Add apples (and onion if using). Cook until soft.
  4. Stir in honey, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add apple cider or water if needed for a smoother sauce.
  5. Return pork chops to the skillet and simmer for 5–7 minutes until fully cooked.
  6. Serve warm with apple sauce spooned over pork chops.
