Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb thinly sliced beef ribeye/sirloin
  • 1/2 Asian pear or apple, grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • 1 tbsp rice wine optional
  • 1/2 onion thinly sliced
  • 1 small carrot julienned
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

  1. Slice beef thinly.
  2. Mix marinade ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Add beef, onion, carrot—mix well and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Cook beef in a hot skillet for 2–3 minutes per side until caramelized.
  5. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve with rice or lettuce wraps.
