Method
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, olive oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
- Place chicken in the crock pot and pour sauce over the top.
- Cover and cook on low 6–7 hours or high 3–4 hours, until chicken is tender.
- Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl, then stir into sauce 20 minutes before serving to thicken.
- Shred chicken with two forks or serve whole.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
