Grilled in the Husk

Soak corn in the husk, grill it for 15–20 minutes while turning, then peel, butter with garlic, sprinkle salt, and serve.

Materials

  • ear fresh corn with husks
  • Water (for soaking)
  • 2 tablespoons  softened butter
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt

Instructions

  • Soak corn (husks and all) in cold water for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat grill to medium heat.
  • Place soaked corn on grill and cook for 15–20 minutes, turning every 5 minutes.
  • Remove corn from grill, peel back husks carefully.
  • Mix butter and minced garlic, then spread over corn
  • Sprinkle with sea salt and serve immediately
