Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops about 1-inch thick
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

Method

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high (375–400°F). Oil the grates.
  2. Rub pork chops with olive oil. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place pork chops on grill. Cook 4–5 minutes per side, until internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  4. Brush with barbecue sauce during last 2 minutes. Let it caramelize.
  5. Remove from grill and rest 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate pork chops in BBQ sauce for 1–2 hours before grilling.
  • Bone-in chops stay juicier, but boneless cook faster.
  • Serve with coleslaw, baked beans, or grilled corn for a complete meal.
