Ingredients
  

For the Beef:
  • 1 lb flank steak or sirloin thinly sliced against the grain
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
For the Sauce:
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce or hoisin
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger grated
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup beef broth or water
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
Vegetables:
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot thinly sliced
  • 1 small zucchini sliced
  • ½ onion sliced

Method
 

  1. Marinate Beef – In a bowl, toss beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Rest 10–15 minutes.
  2. Prepare Sauce – In another bowl, whisk soy sauce, oyster sauce, vinegar, honey, ginger, garlic, broth, and cornstarch.
  3. Cook Beef – Heat a wok/skillet over medium-high. Stir fry beef in batches until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. Cook Veggies – Stir fry onion, bell pepper, broccoli, carrot, and zucchini until crisp-tender (about 3–4 minutes).
  5. Combine & Sauce – Return beef, pour in sauce, and stir. Cook 2–3 minutes until thickened.
  6. Serve – Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Enjoy over rice or noodles.
