Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds ground beef or a mix of beef and pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 jar 24 oz marinara sauce

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, eggs, onion, garlic, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until just combined.
  3. Shape into 1–1½ inch meatballs.
  4. Place meatballs in the crockpot and pour marinara sauce over them.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
  6. Serve hot over pasta, rice, or with bread.

Notes

  • You can use frozen meatballs for a quicker version.
  • Pre-browning the meatballs in a skillet before adding to the crockpot gives extra flavor.
