Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked beans chickpeas, black beans, or kidney beans
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika or smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: chili powder cumin, or Italian herbs

Method
 

  1. Drain and rinse the beans. Pat them dry completely with a clean towel.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Place beans in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to coat.
  4. Add garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Spread beans in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  6. Roast for 20–30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool for 5–10 minutes.
  8. Serve warm as a snack or store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
