Method
- Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in skillet, sear pork chops until golden brown, remove and set aside.
- Add mushrooms, onion, and garlic to skillet; cook until softened.
- Stir in chicken broth, scrape pan, then add cream. Simmer to thicken.
- Return pork chops, spoon sauce over, and simmer 5–7 minutes until cooked through.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot with mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
Notes
- For extra richness, add a splash of white wine when cooking the mushrooms.
- Swap heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
- Bone-in chops stay juicier, but boneless also works well.
