Method
- Pat pork chops dry with paper towels. Season with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- Place pork chops in the pan and sear for 3–4 minutes per side until golden.
- Lower heat to medium. Add butter, garlic, and herbs to the pan.
- Tilt pan and spoon garlic butter over the pork chops for 1–2 minutes.
- Check internal temperature (145°F / 63°C). Cook longer if needed.
- Remove from pan and rest for 5 minutes. Serve with pan juices.
