Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain the fat and set aside.
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Add the bread cubes to the dish.
Sprinkle the cooked sausage and cheese over the bread.
Pour the egg mixture evenly over everything.
Cover and refrigerate overnight, if desired.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes, until golden and set in the center.
