Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs potatoes thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • ½ cup mozzarella or Gruyère
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Melt butter, whisk in flour, and slowly add milk to form sauce.
  3. Stir in cheese, salt, and pepper.
  4. Layer potatoes in a baking dish and pour sauce over each layer.
  5. Cover and bake 30 minutes, then uncover and bake 25 more minutes.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
