Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Melt butter, whisk in flour, and slowly add milk to form sauce.
- Stir in cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Layer potatoes in a baking dish and pour sauce over each layer.
- Cover and bake 30 minutes, then uncover and bake 25 more minutes.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
